Andrea is a deeply passionate amateur golfer who lives golf as an integral part of his everyday life.
He started playing golf in 2020, almost by chance.
In just six years he went from a 54 handicap to a 9 handicap - a course that every golfer knows how challenging it is.
How did he manage it?
Get to know Andrea Gobbato
In addition to playing, Andrea has experience as a caddie and as an organiser of amateur golf competitions, bringing together groups of friends and enthusiasts and enhancing golf courses through the presence of new players.
Andrea has spent most of his professional life working in the pharmaceutical industry, dealing with the sale of medicines in Italy.
His passion for golf finally exploded when he moved to to live at the Montecchia Golf Club (Padua), where golf became part of his daily routine, not just a hobby.
Approaching retirement, Andrea chose a new chapter, focusing on quality of life, sun and golf. Today he lives between Italy and Gran Canaria, where he owns a flat and plays golf every day.
Wherever Andrea goes, his golf bag always accompanies him.
Over the years, he has played golf in several European countries, including Italy, Spain, Portugal Austria, Germany and Norway.
Different courses, wind, cultures, people and playing styles have shaped his approach to golf.
This international experience allows him to easily connect with golfers from different countries and backgrounds - especially those who experience golf as more than just a score.

This experience is ideal for:
A valid national federal membership card is required to access the golf courses in Gran Canaria. This is a standard requirement for international golf clubs.
We advise you to check the calendar and send your request in advance.
Andrea is not always available: requests are numerous and, during certain weeks of the year, he is in Italy.
The experience only concerns the playing company and does not include the green fee.
